Smitten as we are with NYC, there are two things that never fail to make us love it just a little bit more: a newcomer's perspective on the city we call home, and a new flea market—especially one that's in the neighborhood. Enter our Irish editorial assistant, Natasha. Cue also the new LIC Flea & Food, which opened up not far from Ethica HQ over the summer.

When Natasha's sister, Savannah, came into town from Dublin, the two indulged us with a field trip to our new neighborhood attraction. Check them out unearthing jewelry and retro toys from the sea of trinkets and knick-knacks, then hamming it up with a head of lettuce at the friendly J&L Farms booth. Part snack and part performance, Ice Riders offered the apropos touch that rounded out the experience: sustainable snowcones (they're made using a bike-powered ice-maker). Poetic, right?

Natasha wore: Dress: Ilana Kohn. Earrings: Anton Heunis. Clutch: Fleabags. // Savannah wore: Dress: Ivana Helsinki. Necklace: A Peace Treaty. Bag: Ampersand As Apostrophe.
